i had a great disappointment with the camera bought at Harvey warehouse on Saturday..
after discussing with JK, he decided to accompany me to harvey n do an exchange for another model.. and Deng Deng.. i've top up $80 for a reasonable quality camera... Sony Cybershot W180..
yeah! i m sure this camera is so much better.. i've tested the smile detection function n its great!

also had Kenny rogers muffin n their sides sampler... i love it!
snapple iced peach tea was refreshing...

the most happiest thing of the day is to receive Baby G as bday present from Jee kwang..
its not jus a simple watch.. its e model which i lost it some yrs ago..my most favorite watch.

I still remember i gt my first Baby G at City Chain after PSLE 12 yrs ago...
at that time, most of my gal friends already wearing BabyG when they were primary 2 and when i finally persuaded mum to own myself a piece, i was already primary 6.
I bought it with my savings and at tt time most of the Baby G were more than $100 n City Chain was having promotion for this model BAby G-Cool and it came with many colors @$99 only.
I still remember when i finally set my foot with Daddy to get my watch, many colors already sold out.. i was only left with e white and blue n another color.. and so i chose the white with blue ring..
For many yrs this Baby G was with me.. all the way to secondary school , junior college and finally polytechnic when i was attached with my bf. Although the watch become yellowish and ugly and even the leather strap tore... I managed to find a plastic/rubbery white strap to match with my watch so i could continue to wear it..
And then, JeeKwang bought me a second Baby G as he knew i always love baby G.. and soon i neglected my first watch... and hang it on my bag..
And one fine day, when I carry my bag i realised the watch was gone...tt was abt 4 yrs ago
i din even know when i dropped it...
i was very upset by the loss of my favorite watch, as it had been with me for e longest...Although i carried on to own a second Baby G and finally the third last yr, but i was constantly reminded my my lost watch.
n after keeping the box till last yr, i decided to throw the box away as it reminded me of my carelessness.
About 2 yrs ago, i happen to pass by a watch shop in Bras Basah and went in.. the shop looked old n had some old watches. there were many old wtach designs in his glass cabinet and i still remember seeing cockroaches crawling in e display and also some watch straps already melted. i felt really disgusted and i thought i saw my watch design with rotten leather.
Last mth when Jk and me went to Lucky plaza, i passed by another old watch shop with many old BabyG designs but did not find my one...
And so recently, i had a urge to go back to e bras Basah shop n buy e watch... i told Jee Kwang abt it...
he was nice enough to offer to buy it for me, although i din know if they still have it after 2 yrs...
and so he accompanied me to the shop..Before i step in, i realise the shop had revamped. a tinge of disappointment hit me immediately when i stepped in n saw only parker and fountains pens and no more crawling cockroaches.
I told e uncle i want baby G and he pointed me to the latest models..
I shook head and told him i was looking for an old model.. he then led me to one corner outside the shop and pointed the old Baby G he had.. which was abt 20-30 of them... but none was the one i am looking for... they were all packed in rectangle box. I probed the uncle tt e one i was looking for had a spaceship-like box and he shook his head...
i then bent my head lower and saw something smiling at me...
ARhhhh... my one and only... lying horizontally and camouflaging itself among a bunch of ugly watches, it smiled at me...
i pointed n screamed(not v loudly).. the uncle quoted me $180 after staring at the price tag which wrote "special offer $238"
after much negotiated, the uncle was only willing to release it at $150bucks..
although i had e budget of buy at $50, i wanted it so badly and JK generously paid for it...
the watch was working normally after the uncle changed its battery...
Its e exact model i saw 2 yrs ago.. although this one is white with purple ring, but the shop uncle had e synthetic leather strap almost intact... but expectedly after so many yrs, when i bent the watch n try to wear, i could see the strap already cracked.
but i love it so much.. i wont want to wear it again, because i am afraid of losing it one more time...

I caught Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 at cathay on last week...
heh heh..
with some difficulty...
my dear friend and i caused ourselves some confusion.
the popcorn combo with the plush tt i looked forward to for days was sold out! even when it was the first day of show!
i was soooo disappointed because i purposely had a light dinner as i thought i wld b having popcorn at night!
BUT anw, we caught the show..
the seats were perfect... because it was full house again!
imagine ppl at the first row were like giraffe...
e show was not fantastic but enough to keep me entertained for the whole evening...
i esp love Eleanor who wore crocs platform shoes because she was tooo short...
i loved Theodore much much better than Alvin!
i remembered the first 1 was nicer..

Actually i never expect one day I would hv to find another bf.. but it happened
i always thought u were just the right guy..
i guess as time goes by, u tend to expect too much from another person..
i thought he knows me well, and accepts me for who i am, accepts my friends, accepts my big social circle..
I admit i started to neglect many things, and assume things will be the way I wanted.
I nvr blame anyone or him for giving up on me.. the responsibilities lies on both parties...
He is definitely a nice person, wholeheartedly commiting to our bond all these 5 yrs..
i swore i did my best too... and was still waiting for a second chance to salvage though u said those harsh words.
However, what disappoints me is just when i was trying to maintain at least friendship for now.. i see no efforts coming from him... Do i not deserve to be your friend? your sms seemed so cold and hostile nw, and i could not convinced myself that you were once to close to me and i confided in you every night. When i always tell ppl i talked to my bf every night consecutively for 5yrs, every1 was so amazed hw we can talked for so long hrs even though we have been together for so many yrs..
i've packed my feelings and accept things for what it is now... not sad but merely disappointed.
i think i am still lucky because many of my friends are unattached now..
i am lucky to hv known friends at workplace who hears and comfort me from time to time

the past few mths, i wld like to thank a special person
thank you YBK , who was constantly being harassed by me when i was bored... appreciate u alot alot... always treat u as a big n nice bro.

it was full house lor!!!

luckily we booked tickets..

was playing the pimple and distracted my peripheral vision....

i endured my pee for whole 2.5hrs before i decided to let it out...

i was sitting right at the centre lor....

and imagine i have to say so many excuse me and wriggle my way out of the cinema to pee..

and i spent the rest of the 10minutes of e movie standing at e back watching with the staff..

and thanks for the special encounter with the police when u go pee at e coffeeshop lor....

dun say singapore police not hardworking hor.... they do night patrolling to make sure all the residents are safe and sleeping soundly at night....

i went to JB with my parents ytd...
the new woodlands customs... really nice...
i could not help but take a pic and i was confronted by a security guard who asked me to delete the photo and told me that place is not a shopping mall...
just out frm the customs and deng deng!with little efforts we reached City Square mall..
anw.. i din shop at City Square..
we went to visit Aunt at her house... woo.. super big! 2 storeys high n it cost Rm $239,000
my aunt drove us out for lunch, on the way to the restaurant we were hit by a COCONUT...
there was a loud BANG, and expectedly, there was a big dent on the car...
Lunch @ YUan(round) YUan(fate) Yuan(garden) restaurant, co-opened by ex artiste Xie Shao Guang, i thought the food tasted more like homemade dishes as they were all vegetarian...
after lunch we went to JUSCO shopping mall to shop...
aww... that mall is so big, it reminded me of VIvo City...
there was sales everywhr...
i din buy much thing though, bcus i noe there will be a lot sales during this xmas season, i wan to save the cash for shopping in sg...

we had lunch there and then proceeded to interchange when the sky BOO! and rained on us!!!!

we went to Cineleisure n collected our tix before we shop ard at Cine....
Caught xmas Carol in 3D..
it was quite fun..
but due to the fact there were too much dialogue and no subtitles... i happily dozed off again!!!
ahaha... perhaps i slpt too late last night as well so when the digestion of the popcorn n nacho started, my brain soon drifted itself to lala land...

aft tt we went to Far East Plaza... bought 2 dresses.. Wee!!!
so guilty i spent the most today...

dinner at airport Swensens was Purrrr-fectly delicious...

hello... its been a v long time since i last updated my blog...
recently many tings happen..
my family member fell v ill...
lucky we've braved through 1 storm, thanks daddy for working so hard to stay with us...
i am super delighted to be able to celebrate mum n dad bday this yr...
this yr has nt been a easy yr for the both of them and esp my two little sisters who r still in study.... no matter wad happen, we'll stay together as a family...
i supposed any plan for me to further studies have to put on hold.... work has nw bcome a priority for me...... having able to see my happy family is the greatest support...

thanks to him too..
stayed by me though we made a major decision..
i supposed i wld choose anything else above u...
oct 16 marked the end of this 5 yr relationship
it was mutual tt we decided to go on separate ways.. one of e reason being my selfishness to want to spend most of my free time with my friends.
Really appreciate u can be so understanding for the past yrs, also giving patience and attention to every detail of my life..
i will remember the mistakes and the experience and try to rectify them.

Also met up with my beloved mushrooms
and celebrate stella n jessie bday at tang dian wang...
bought a cake but we cant finish it, end up have to donate to e restaurant staffs

think back so funny. spent almost 30bucks just to kiap those tiny babies....

i am simply lazy...

just reaslised my sec sch classmate going to ROM, and one Jc classmate just gave birth to a girl months ago...
haaa... seems like when i am getting more and more OLDER, all the ppl ard me are starting to get married...
feels abit weird... at different stage of life, these are the different things we experienced...
I still vaguely remember after olevels, many of my friends went to relationships... Suddenly nw only a few yrs after graduating from polytechnic, my friends are becoming parents.... It jus feels odd...

Let me just recall what happened during my disappearance...

met Alicia 4th June and
we walked aimlessly in chinatown area...
to raffles place...
and back to chinatown..
and made her drunk...
and she flushed like a cooked lobster....
haaa..

went to my secondary 3/4 class gathering...
I was shocked when i arrived downtown east after work last saturday...
poor Junwei the organiser managed to gather 9 ppl out of 41 of the class...
ahaha... anw, had fun...
recalled many incidents whhen we were back in sec sch...
we had supper at xin wang hong kong cafe...
i love their french toast... hee hee

i had the most horrendous Labour Day of my life..
it was worse than being devoured by a jellyfish...
the story began a mth ago when a cx brought in a pair of hard lens which was purchased abt 13mths back, complaining blur vision and discomfort.
The supplier checked and concluded that the lens were badly stained and scratched due to MISHANDLING.
HAving heard frm my colleagues that e cx only use Conditioning solution n nothin else, i informed the cx tt the lens could nt be serviced due to the heavy scratches and her cleaning regimen has to be enhanced with cleaner and protein removal etc.... the cx flared up and yelled she been using rgp lens for more than 10 yrs and nothing like that happened to her b4, and she was not informed that she has to clean the lenses bcus the conditioning is MULTI PURPOSE SOLUTION.
The cx later demanded the contact number for the solutions company, with the intention to complain that the instructions had not been clearly stated in the drug insert, but later.... she called up to my HQ n complained how badly me n my mgr attitude were, and eventually was being compensated by a new pair of lens(despite the lens were due to her own wear and tear), and my mgr innocently only spoke two sentence to her:
SHE:Where is the lady?
MAnager: Oh, she's doing an eyecheck
She: How long wld she take?
Manager: She will be out by 15minutes, would you like to take a seat?
She also demanded proper instructions and brochures to be given to her to teach her hw to clean her lenses..

And so on Labour day, her dad came to collect on behalf and i insisted not to dispense the lenses until she is present personally. The dad scolded me for delaying her lenses and that we(shop) was inefficient and our customer service was HOPELESS!

and so later, She called up and had a heated argument with me. Insisted that i should have called every hour when she was in the midst of having an examination(which i totally was unaware and did not want to know) the day before when i called her few times and she din pick up day before.

She scolded me for being unprofessional not to call her house and keep calling her every hour when her other friends were able to call her.. and i have absolutely no idea what is her house number.

She yelled me for being rude from the day i started to troubleshoot her, and i wondered why had i given her a free pair of monthly disposable to tide over the period and eventually end up being so rude to do so.

Later, as the shop was quite packed due to the holiday, I told her i wanted to call her back when there were obviously 2 or more cx waiting for my attention immediately when she was barking over the phone, she continued barking that she was an important client and that she had spent abt 800 Sing dollars in our shop,(WOW WOW) and instructed me to change my service attitude and told me i had serious attitude problem.

Having had enough of her barks, i just told her to wait for my HQ to call, when i sincerely felt apologetic becus it was labour day.

BEing unappreciated, the cx demanded the lenses to be delivered to her house when in the first place, the lenses replacement were done to her only OUT OF GOOD WILL.And tmr, my mgt and tmall optom will visit her hse personally to educate her on her new lenses.

I seriously hope she wld wake up her ideas ans top being so naive. We are doing everything juz becus we wan to SHUT U UP not becus we are sorry for everything.

AND mind u, my job does not revolve around calling customer from the moment i step in my shop to the last mintue i leave the store
.
LAstly, i will not change my attitude especially towards you. And even when u said U do not want and wished to see my face, I was more than happy to say I felt the same way too...

Thank you for not patronising again. Because of you, i have lost so much time, so much efforts calling the supplier to help you and yet feeling unappreciated. I have to lose so many cx who walk in and being oblivious to them, because of your soooo valued phonecall and that you were my most precious and dear customer that i wld never want to lose...

How the heck would i care that the lenses were so important to you that they were less expensive than the glasses u made and u had to complain you were blind with e lenses, and that u cannot come to collect this pair of FOC lenses because u r so busy preparing for the exam and tt u wld become the next MP of SG, when u stay nearby and collection wld only take u 15minutes.
Just f*** off and pls do not come again. Thank You very much.

Some thoughts
when i was young..
we worry about school, grades, making friends, being up to expectation.

When i was a little older..
we worried about deadlines for reports, having endless common tests, attending lot of different supplimentary classes, preparatory classes, about friendships and relationships

When finished my olevels
we worry about the future, the course to take that will set the career for rest of ur life

when finished diploma
we worry about job, salary, colleagues..

now
we worry abt
not having enough time to do the things we want...
not being able to spend $ as we like...
feeling dreary but yet have to work...

Recently i've heard many ppl falling ill.
sometimes i wonder hw much happiness can we get, when we have to worry n slog so hard for all the life and realised our time is up, yet there is so many things undone.

i wonder if the female mosquito feels upset when shes at the verge of death after giving birth to her babies...

In conclusion, life is short. so pls watch thai movie "Coming soon" and yell ur frustrations and scare ur soul out!

i went to the it fair at suntec today..

wah lau... super crowded..

there was security ard the convention centre to ensure smooth human traffic..

i tink it was a grand fair because almost the entire level 3, 4 and 6 were selling electronic and IT products.

i bought a maxtor external hard disk of 250Gb at $89 dollars...

after walking through the crowded convention halls... we have to move our way slowly out to the shopping malls.... i feel as if i'm on a human generated-escalator. u practically have to juz stand in the crowd and feel your body being push forward... practically dun have to walk at all...

Before going to I T fair, we had lunch at Shokudo food bazaar...

actually wanted to dine at the vegetarian pasta, Roma Deli(at shaw tower) but was abit out of the way to suntec, As we plan to go Bugis only after going to Suntec City.

As i walked past the Shaw Tower, thoughts reminscienced. We used to catch movie at the 1200 seater shaw tower, and now the theatre is closed...

we walked to simlim square too... alot of shops were nt opened because of the IT fair

it was my birthday mth..

thanks to everyone who sent me birthday greetings/wishes..

i was really touched having so many friends who remembered my birthday despite myself being a short-termed memory person...

my bf gave me a wonderful birthday celebration on the day itself.

We went cycling by the east coast beach and had dinner at parkway parade.

also special thanks to my primary, secondary as well as my beloved mushrooms.

juz celebrated Jieting bday on the 10jan.
watched PonYO! hah... we had a fun and enjoyable outing. from morning, met up w Jia n had pastamania, then to somerset, den vivo city and settled our dinner at explanade little restaurant call Max Brenner, where we had chocolate fondue, chocolate brownie, chocolate waffle with vanilla ice cream, i nearly burst my belly.

Also met up with ling, stella on 6jan, to chinatown.
Realised Chinatown new yr goodies arent cheap at all...
felt kinda cheated... but anw one yr once lo...

31st dec 2008
went to countdown with HuiHui after work..
Initially wanted to go Marina barage, but it was too late!
Barage was full and no entry by the time we reach marina bay..
so we took train down to city hall...
walked and walked and we end up at raffles place...
there was a big field facing the explanade. and we saw fireworks at the instant when the clock strike 0000hrs!

Also celebrated weiling bday on 28dec. we had a fun day too!
Buffet lunch at tampines safra sakura international buffet.
once again i felt bloated.... haaa
aft which we set off to dhoby ghaut
my first time to Minds cafe... nice setting, except i tink its abit too noisy...
also went to dreamers cafe MIN GE CAN TING at marina square...
relaxing place... even if its alone i wanna go there again!

Xmas 2008 was spent at work..
nevertheless met with Huihui and we went Timbre
nice place n ambience...

yo.... hadnt been blogging for quite some time...
shall update on my recent offs...
i had 2 consecutive offdays granted by my manager...
ON monday 08/12/08..
i was off on public holiday!
met up with xuanchun n qiantong for breakfast @ long John silvers..
Had a hair cut after tt... my head look like a button mushroom nw.
went ktv at bedok chai chee cc after which with darling...
we went late for 40min due to the bad weather, so the auntie gave us some rantings...
after singing my darling brought me to geylang n look for some nice food.
it was my first time going there to find food...
abit disappointed cus was quite hungry by the time we reach there...
and the frog leg porridge tasted juz like chinatown's, the horfan juz tasted like normal, and the beancurd was super expensive....

Tuesday
had badminton practice in the mornin...
alot ppl fly kites. end up only 3 of us.
went for my driving lesson and after which i met darling to head for our KUishinBo express buffet
after lunch we went to schu n i grabbed 3 pairs of shoes...
they were having sale n i bought the one i eyed since a month ago which was den selling at $53.90 at 70% off...
we also went to marina sq to walk walk when we passed by New York skin and we decided to consult them about the fees to clear up acne for darling...
who knows their were having opeing promo and they suggested us to do a free trial with no obligations.
it took us 3.5hrs to finally leave the place though the counter staff promised that the free trial wld take only 2.5hr..and in between the facial, alot of time was wasted due to waiting. i was waiting in the room for more than 15min unattended as the consultant was unaware of my presence in the room.
the treatment was quite satisfactory in my own opinion, however i was quite disappointed when they use hard-selling technique to persuade us to sign up the packages.
They purposely separate us during the course of facial and after the facial in hope that my bf wld sign up a facial treatment as my christmas treatment. The consultant told me that my skin color and dehydration, that needs to be improved. She recommended me collagen treatment which cost 1100bucks for 5 sessions and she's giving me for only $500. if i opt nt to sign up on that same day, i wld hv to pay for the original price the next time i decided to. Also, the collagen treatment has to be done every week and when the face improve, i can go for it only 10-14days once. Also, the consultant advised me to also go for facial at moddern beauty to complement with her treatment. this wld mean tt i have to spend abt $500 per month for my skin which i am nt very unhappy with my current condition.
Their expression completely changed and i thought they become kind of impolite when we display disinterest in their packages after the free treatment. Words of criticism, sarcasm, displeasure and insult soon pump in when we decided to leave the place without signing anything. The consultant insisted that i should place a deposit if i wanted to consider so that she can reserve the package price for me. She was abit impolite when i rejected her straight in her face.
i had a bad impression of the place and i swear nt to go back there or introduce any friends who needs any specialise service from them.
My bf and i were quite upset after the whole treatment. They were quite discreet when we asked for the fees and treatment and persuaded us to go for skin analysis which eventually lead to their hard selling.

anw, when we reach bgis it was already 7.30pm... darling bought some tops and we settled for dinner at liang seah street and had wanton mee

some updates...
I caught Madagascar 2 sneak preview on friday 7 nov..
one word to describe --> Excellent..
everything was so funny.. the funny movie parts still flashed on my mind from time to time n make my smiles during the day.....
but somehow i feel the contents is abit too mature for kids.
anyway.. i enjoyed myself alot...

today when i was serving an indian couple, something happened..
there was a super loud thud sound outside my shop.
When i looked out e glass display.
I saw an uncle collapsed, face lay flat on the ground.
The wife tried to turned him over. His family members were sqading bu him, feeling lost and helpless....
He was like under shock.. hands freezed, clenched fists and forehead bleeding profusely
he finally regained consciousness after several minutes. luckily the doctor from nearby clinic came to his rescue...
after wards he was sent to hospital with his wife walking beside him...
soooo shocking...

hey yo... my consecutive off this week...
hiak hiak...
early in morning i went for driving...
after which went for facial at OUB centre...
After facial i went down alexandra to service my beloeved LG phone... can faint.. it took me 1 hr to sit there and wait for my turn, when there were apparently 4 counters and only 1 serving for mobile repairs. i nearly faint becus of the wait, i couldnt believe it took almost 1 hr when my queue number was 2numbers away from the one who was served.
After sending in repairs, i thot i lose the visitor pass, which was a sticker and had to be returned. It further wasted another 15min of my time...
next i went down to bugis and bought dinner to dear's hse and we had pontian wanton mee for dinner...
stayed at his place till 8.30 before i set off for home...
met ah bird for a drink at starbucks. catch up abit till 11pm before home sweet home...
yawns.. its a tiring day!

Happy Deepavali...
its holiday and rarely on public holiday i'm off...
i woke up at 7.30am for my usual badminton practice.
so sad, i gt hit on my wrist by my badminton khaki... its swollen and blueblack now...
poor me..
Afternoon met up with my beloved mushrooms.
so lucky, they all off on holidays..
so we met for lunch..
settled for food republic at suntec... Poor weiling, bcus shes small sized, she alwaes get bullied by ppl.. this time round is the indian stall vendor, who completely ignored her presence and gave her prata to other customers when she order first....
after lunch, we went to kbox...
we saw e female staff with the super long n thicked gluey eyelash stuck on her upper eyelids...
we also saw a great white shark at kbox... hurhur.. only the gals know what i mean...
singing at kbox was fun. get to hear many new songs... haha. somehow gt updated by the recent tophits. Fish leong songs became hot for the day. also sang many artistes' songs...
Weiling and Me ordered alcohol too.. but due one fo the staff keep asking us to add some snacks to make our bill $100(so we can enter the lucky draw) so i thought she mean snacks, when she wanted to ask if i wan soda or softdrink for my vodka...
ahaha... i had a v full fill of tibits... and soda...
Our bill came to be 105bucks so we were entitled for their special 6th anniversary lucky draw. Since weiling's bday is coming, she went for the draw and got herself a Tank's Cd... haha
We finished our singing at 7pm and headed for marina square...saw many changes at MS, this time round, even more shops closed down... esp on level 3.. we walked ard the mall in search of our dearest stella mushie bday present.... and eventually settled for dinner at hotpot culture. i had fried rice while the girls had mini steamboat.
Seems like many ppl are going to apply for the degree... I'm hesitant. I dun wan to see my whole life in this field... though its not something tt i dislike. making sales can sometimes be fun. but i feel tired making spec and contact lens and constantly hv to be updated by new n newer materials whom all claimed to be superior and best... theres also some internal problems ,which i dun wish to mention that further dreads me to stay in this line...

Its my weekend off again...
Actually prefer to have 2 weekends on separate weeks, but this month schedule is quite messy.. plus we get 2 extra days off due to public holidays (Hari Raya and Deepavali)
Unfortunately due to shortage of manpower, Manager insist i take off on the coming Deepavali so i will have 7 offs instead of 8... awww
Never mind, at least my manager is kind enough to give me 4 consecutive offs starting from last Friday... Its already monday! my offs juz flew like wind... whoosh

Just let me recall what I had been doing for the past few days!

On Friday 10/10/08
Woke up at 8+ in the morning...
had driving lesson till 11am.
after which i went down to Outram and had my blood donated.
This was my second donation. Fortunately, I did not feel uncomfortable of Giddy after the blood was drawn.. I was also quite happy my blood pressure was normal 113/81. Yeah
After the blood donation, i had the free refreshment which consist of Hot milo, Green bean soup, a baked puff...
Kept the puff till evening as Darling wanted to have lunch with me. We met at Amk hub n dined at Ichiban Sushi. The food was quite alright, service average only.
After lunch we walked ard amk hub before we caught movie at Cathay... Painted Skin... Quite a touching love story, but I thought guys(like my bf) would nt have enjoyed much, though he was the one who picked the show...
Looking forward to some of the upcoming animation..like Madagascar 2...(",)
After the show, we went back to dear's hm and rest for a while before going to Compass Point.
My colleagues gave us a treat at Changi village as a birthday celebration for some of them.

Met Wenxin, Hui Hui and Shernee at Orchard!
First time we trio go to orchard. I nvr thought Shernee wld agreed to meet up. She is the type that i thought wld nvr stepped in places with big crowds.
We had lunch at a Japanese express, self-service restaurant.
My first time there..
Abit funny cus you have to order using the vending machine and deposit coins into the machine just like taking neo print.
I had katsu pork rice with chawanmushi and miso soup. I thought the meat was quite tough. Overall alright.
After lunch we walked ard Far East Plaza.. after which we walked dn the stretch of Orchard Road. Our legs were both aching and tired... Eventually we rested our feet at Plaza Singapura Mos Burger for a drink.
My first time drinking their Strawberry milkshake.
halfway during our chat, I had to excuse myself and left early as my family were going to have dinner at Bedok 511 market. I saw our Senior Desmond at the optical shop near the 511 coffeeshop. Never did i know his family shop was that until that day!
We had bbq food( stingray, sotong) and fried kangkong with sambal chilli.
After which we walked to interchange whr i bought my new moo moo bedsheet and a 10bucks bag!

Spent half of the day at Dear's place.
had mixed veg rice for lunch...
bought some nanxiang xiao long bao to his place as well..
actuallie thought i could have one, end up nobody eats so i din dare to open the box... awww
so sad...

thought i'll be late, end up i'm the earliest...

Dinner at a little eatery shop outside amk hub. They served a wide variety of chinese food.

its 1.30am in e morning...
i just had dinner n finished at 1am...
supposed to go popeye n swensens to have my supper after work with my darling...
blur me did stupid things again!
We alighted at airport n was alreadi queueing for popeye when I realised i lost my phone...
awww... it was my 21st bday present... i felt worried n anxious...
Immediately my darling said we go to the SBS office.. n just nice! there was none at t1! we had to take the bus to t2...
Then we reached t2 n informed the staff..We anxiously asked the staffs if they found any phone... Without any consideration, A sbs uncle told us it was found but the bus uncle will submit to Hougang Interchange!And he told me it was a Nokia phone!!!
Oh my god! we caught the next bus 27 from Airport n Flew all the way to the hougang Interchange... ALong the way, there was traffic JAm!! ARGHHH!!!!
when reached the interchange it was already 11.30pm.. We checked with the sbs staff and a guy told us they did not receive any phone! my darling rebuted and told them we were informed the phone was sent down. speechless! the sbs staff checked and took out a familiar phone!AWWW...
i felt so lucky...
By then i was already hungry like hell.... We checked with the staffs what time is the last bus. And he told us to the direction of bus 27! Ah.... we saw the bus and Hopped on... and the driver told us it was the last bus...
HA.... so lucky...
Finally got on the journey back home n went to the coffeeshop below my hse to get our dinner...
Phew!

long waited one.. had foreplan a month ago.. almost feel disappointed when my manager keeps disturbing me he wan to cancel my off when i oredi tell him i goin out..
BUt anyway..
SUnday with mushroom was hell lotsa fun!
from morning i wake up i look forward to the day!
Met at harbourfront!
my mum kept rushing me to leave e hse n guess wad.. all the rest was late!
got myself some new earrings at Chameleon while waiting for my pretty gals.
We had our lunch buffet at Dragon Date Restaurant... Its under the same company we had our dim sum buffet yrs back at Excelsior Hotel. the food was average. i thought it was quite loo gee since we are actually all small eaters... Although i thot the food was quite nice, my belly nvr fail to disappoint me. I felt bloated after a round of stuffing in my tummy... den the word KnockOut jus flashed on my forehead, acting as a signal and everyone could see...
The restaurant was quite big ... and it was segregated into 2 parts, one which weddings was held... There was a lunch wedding there n we saw many plates of lobsters.. dunno why my gong gong mushrooms spotted as Duck or Chicken or even Goose... soooo funny! I die die insisted they were lobsters so i asked one of the aunties working there.. hah! so i was right.
The aunties there very funny! they wear their uniform skirts all the way up sia, up to below the boobs.. den our dear szehui still thot its their aprons... WAHAHAHAHhaaaa.....
the most dreaded dish of the day was the stir fry spinach. I physically felt as if i was drinking cooking oil when i ate the veg! i think they juz pour oil n soak in e veg. Even when i pour chinese tea n soaked the veg, i still felt so oily... sze hui lagi worse.. dipped the veg in lotus roots soup i tink...
After having our fill... we aked for the bill.. it tooking abt 15minutes for the bill to arrive... we waited to the extent we wondered if they forgot we asked for the bill....

After lunch we took the monorail to Sentosa! ha....
Was there to enjoy some Sun tanning.. The girls wanted to go to Dolphin lagoon! I've been there once, but the dolphins nvr fail to amaze me! so cute n bubbly... just before the dolphin start, the sun has decided to go home, for the weather become ever cooling since then...
After visiting dolphin lagoon, our next destination was Underwater world.... Supposed to take a bus but we saw the Open air Bus! the one like the Hippo Ride, We were super excited! hah... we waited for the bus to come n hopped on! Wow... Swoosh... the air was super cooling sitting on the open air double decker...Felt like roller coaster. So we decided to sit n tour one round before we land on underwater world.

At Underwaterworld...
WE tried to feel the fishes... they were so tricky... when we placed our hands in the tank, they purposely avoided our hands n swam away when our hands moved nearer. Only after a while, I lay my hand still in the water when suddenly a cute fish purposely swam by n rubbed its body towards me... thats so friendly... So lovely... After tt we went to another tank n touched the stingrays... aww... they were so gentle n amicable... How sad to recall that crocodile hunter was actually killed by a fatal sting by the lovely creatures...
After tt we walked ard the underwaterworld. Theres a section on crabs... haaa... they were so cute... also the angelfish n the jellyfish caught my eyes... they were simply AweSOME!!!!!

After tt we set off for the Sky Ride...
It became the joke of the day when we have 2 gals who want to go up the Carlsberg Tower YAYA-ly when they r afraid of heights... Throughout the journey, our dear Jessie nvr want to open her eyes when we are up on the sky Ride... it was so funny sitting beside her because it simple feel entertaining... At least stella was slightly better. The Luge ride was super fun when i played like the bumper car n happily tried to disturb the gals.........but i seriously thought the Escape themepark Go KArt was more Fun!

After the ride.. we decided it was quite late so we headed back to Vivocity...
Went to Daiso!
Wow.... din noe theres one here at Vivo city...
So many things i wish to buy sia.... Its all priced at $2... wahahaha...

Dinner was at Long john silver as we still felt abit bloated after the dim sum in early afternoon.
Shared 2 sets of meals...
chit chat n then it was home sweet home...

booo its 2++am in e morning... juz came back from movie --> MIRRORS
watched 2 midnite movies frm last weekend... last week i caught 4bia.
I personally preferred 4BIA though the movie was cut into 4 segments, illustrating 4 different stories...

Candice, ciba sales drove me n tmall manager, n tmall 2 guys back... haha. Only then did i realise i have colleagues living so close to my hse...

Also had my first badminton practise with Dane, Kelvin, Evan, all frm tmall, as well as wee, my manager... aww.. i was too lousy, luckily Evan play with me... i thought i need to take up beginners course probably as all of them nearly faint when they saw how i played...

i m back from my "BIZ" trip. ahahah
it has been quite a wonderful experience at Bangkok bcus i get to meet new ppl...
Surprisingly there were 6 students from Sp who was attached to this tvci(the vision care institute) trip... really felt happy to meet my beloved cute junior especially(Hui Min) who surpringly could recall my name.. SHe merely did 1 rgp delivery for me abt 6mths ago.. n i was impressed by her photographic memory! also got to know two guy juniors call Jerome n forgotten the other name...

though the entire trip is very enriching... i slpt through almost every lecture as like usual...
the topics are really interesting but i juz cant focus... wahahahhaha, too engrossed in sleeping...

after the tvci, we visited some of better vision optical... was impressed... the decoration was really nice, given that big space they have, the can luxurily set aside many rooms n use them for different purpose. Almost every shop has a J n J corner... very neat and nicely decorated. The Refraction room also took up at least 4 meters width of space... really comfortable and spacious...

Also, we visited the thai optical group factory and get to know cute guys... Bordin especially cute.. cos i went gaga n crazy n did stupid things, hw dare he asked me to GROW up, but in a really cute jokingly manner... so i said the same thing to him...
got to watch the whole process of how the lenses are made. our factory is so so so much bigger than essilor and involved much more manpower who look at us as if we were let freed from enclosure.

its really a rich and wonderful experience in thailand. i felt really fortunate becus its my first time going overseas nt falling sick.. i din get diarrhoea, not even car sick or boat sick or coach sick. i feel like a normal person... i still remembered i had terrible stomach upset when i went for the batam trip for attacment. i could nt even eat bcus the food made me nauseous n gave me diarrhoea. lucky i had stella n weiling to look after me then. Last yr when i went beijing i too had a terrible time when i take e coach. everytime i feel as if vomitting. this time round in bangkok was unbelievably amazingly joyful. n i feel an urge to go there again. esp theres great company!

the heavy downpour spoilt my mood as i was on the train moving towards boonlay...
immediate i felt disappointment...
the sky did clear up after our lunch, which we settled at BENTO BOX at jurong point...
the bento was fulling and ravishing after being hungered the whole morning..
i had salmon teriyaki with pork katsu n chicken karage... thumbs up...
after our lunch we took bus 194 which stop right at the entrance of Bird park...
woooo.......
I saw many birds..
hawks, flamigos, vultures, mynahs, ostrichs, penguin, parrots, eagles, owls, pelicans, kingfishers, peacocks.etc...
i tink we missed the hornbills area... =(
anw i thot the last time i went i thot they were bringing in hummingbirds, but i saw none during my exploration... perhaps it wasnt successful
we managed to catch two bird shows.. one with parrots, the other with hawks...
the latter one was too packed n crowded.. i din really see wat what happening.. besides, there were too many golden plus white crystals glaringly dazing my eyes and nearly burnt my eyeballs... that we eventually to give up watching e shows...
dinner was at hm, dad cooked.
After dinner i went to This fashion and bought some clothes, it was having storewide sale.. whee...
After which i went century square with my sis n saw a polo tee...
happily bought it and realish it was having 43% off because of the national day... i was soooo happie! after which i went to ntuc to stock up tibits for my hse, for the cupboard looked really pathetic with only the soda biscuits....
n the day ended tiredly cus i caught flu from the rain.

it was holiday for many students n i gt an off too.. haaa
earlie in morning went to the doc to get my medications.. in preparation for my trip..
the doctor gave me alot of medications n in return the consultation cost me $48 bucks.. Also went SEven Eleven to buy potato chips so as to further stock up my cupboard....
before noon, i went to buy travel insurance at ntuc in case... X X X
After which i went to Tab and Bottles to get my miniature perfum, so that i can smell nice at thai and travel light and carefree without bringing a huge bottle of glass..
My dear came over at abt 12pm n we had lunch at hm.. dad cooked again..
After which we went to bugis to buy tibits(again) and pray, n to get his ink cartridge from Simlim square.
we then walked to suntec carrefour to hunt for my candy.. ALLEn Minties but apparently they dun hv it, jus like the rest of the hypermarkets n supermarkets i visited. So we headed to Candy Empire n DEng Deng, i finally found my beloved candy there...
Next we proceeded to Marina square.. surprised thatmany shops have closed, esp those selling clothes.... so we walked ard n then it was home sweet home..

went to my sec sch class gathering last saturday...
we had a bbq pit.. due to the fact i had to go dere oni after work, i end up with nothing to eat.
thanks Khairul for digging out a hot otah for me... was really nice...
the gathering ended quite earlier for this time round, i managed to reach hm by taking a free car ride on bird's bf car by 1am..
lucky gt jianhao, if nt i sure lost my way walking in to the pit... jianhao came all e way out to the bus stop to fetch me...
managed to catch up a little with the company...

today is National Day... its been 2 yrs since i last watched NDP on tv... i already forgotten its a public holiday tmr... hahaha...

This coming sunday i'll be having off.. GOing out with Stella n Jessie... sure it'll be fun... it seemed ages since we last met up...

Wld be going thailand on the 18th-22nd, first three days for J n J tvci trip, subsequently one day wld be visiting bettervision factory n shop visit n one day shopping! certainly will get to learn alot of things.. but i m jus worried my travel sickness will disappoint my mood to learn n enjoy...

its been quite long since i last typed an entry...
shall start with my most recent happening! I went swimming today n last tuesday...
today was disappointment i shall nvr go for evening swim again...
so many kids swimming across me.. i feel so cramped n kept knockin on people, gt ppl push my head summore...
so irritating...
i managed to swim 10 laps to n fro vertically the pool...
after the swim i saw my eyes turned red again..
must be due to the chlorine in the pool.. i sure have corneal and conjunctival staining of Gr 2.0 now... After the swim i alwaes feel drowsy..

I went to zoo on 12 july after a long wait of 4yrs hee...
i was v happy bcus i alwaes like to go to zoo... there r so many animals dere... but this time the visit gt both joy n disappointment...
disappointment first... they removed some animals from the childrens land... i din get to see ponies n black pigs n chicks n ducks n rabbits n sheep n horses...
n i missed the animal shows cus it was simply too crowded...
n the orangutan show will only commence in August.. so i missed that too.... awww....

Also... MY bf bro gt married on 6july... i attended his weddin dinner at chinatwon Furama hotel... my first time there. Ha... it was situated very near mrt...
it was a lunch banquet... nt many tables..
but i tink the place is quite nice... esp the view from the hotel view.. i would say its splendid... can see the ferris wheel n raffles place tall buildings....
haha... as usual the first dish alwaes alot pattern... its the colddish... the waitress alwaes make it funny by standing solemn holding the plate high with one hand... and all lights were switched off....

i sat on the main table with the bride n the groom.
Our table was special, all dishes were served specially... in little portions... n we had dragon cups n spoons... haha.. dear best friend came to help him fetch some of the important guests....
the lunch ended at abt 3+ aft which dear drove his family hm and we drove back to park his bro car at the hotel carpark after which we went chinatown to walk walk...
we had dinner at the newly renovated market... was so stunned... suddenly there seemed to be double number of stall vendors compared to the temporary market i alwaes went to...
sadly too many stalls i dun remember which is the stall we had stingray.... n so we oni had hokkien mee aft which i went hm...

met with dearie for supper after my work on last monday..

we went to Bedok 85 market n had stingray n bbq sotong..

met up with my psch buddies on last tuesday

we had nice food at roma deli...

was craving for baked pasta... but dunno why i blurted baked rice to the cashier instead... ahahah... anyway.. it was delicious...

after lunch we walked ard bugis junction den to suntec...

my toes were terribly lack of blood n oxygen...

my poor feet, was limping n screaming when i walked my way to suntec...

anyway.. finally DMK rescued me... i bought a heeled sandal n den was able to walk carefreely

we accompanied jia to Daniel Yam n she saw a black dress, it looked really nice on her body... brings out her curve but she was quite hesitant to buy...

after which we went to cotton on n it was having SALE...

When on our way back to the mrt station, eventually JIa bought the dress.. she was quite guilty n thought her mum wld b mad to see it.. but me n Ting thot it was indeed a gd buy..

so fast. I've been working at this company for 3 mths le...
I hope to get e letter of confirmation n my practising license $$ soon
work has been alrite, weekdays we practically kill houseflies...
since march, i think in total we killed 4 houseflies.
3 with rubberbands, of e 3 1 of housefly head burst, 1 i swapped with a wet cloth....
compass point crowd quite alrite... so work has been manageable..
i am quite happy tt i get home on time esp after 11hrs of work everyday...
living expenses keep rising... esp transport n food... heartache..
OoOh i realised OH chang Kee chix wings r delicious...

I caught Fish n Co at airport e night before my off... after work...
it was a pop surprise by him....
Din even noe he was coming....
He also bought 2 movie tix at Tmall Gv for Speedy chaser at 12.10am
Prior to e fact we also went airport on Friday but wasnt in time for Fish n Co, I wasnt expecting alot when i arrive airport on Saturday nite.
Perhaps due to weekends, Fish n CO was still open n we dashed in the restaurant...
Had a sumptuous fish n chips...

after dinner, we walked to e viewing mall to see planes before we search for Gloria Jeans coffee, which my sis gave me a voucher one for one drink....
Dearrie had a fun time playing with chocolate n caramel syrup as well as flavored chips...
After getting e drink, we proceeded to e bus terminal hopefully to board e bus quickly so we can reach in time for our 1st midnight show...
But... heavens got its way... we waited for 1/2hr n there was barely any sign that our long waited bus no 27 was soon to come...
It was already 1215am n we were still waiting for bus at airport...
Our hearts pounded like heavy stone... but decided to hv a change of plan... we boarded another bus. thanks for the kind hearted bus uncle... we reached tampines stadium in 10 min and ran like hounds to tmall... By the time we reached e cinema it was already 1240am. luckily the show started at 1230.. hee... my fav golden village always start late... tts why we din missed out alot.. we juz sit at the most back row so as nt to disturb other viewers.
the show was so funny, i laughed thruout e entire show... although it was so exaggerating,i enjoyed myself so much.
Had a wonderful date. thanks to my special one....

I fell sick again...
Just when i was happily recoving from my stye..
I caught a flu..
Working was terrible when i kept sneezing n was having a sore throat...
Things got worse when cough came along...
Eventually, I decided to see a doctor, which gave me a heart attack when e 3 medications summed up to $53 bucks...
Luckily the drugs actted as fast as lightning...
Met up with mushrooms ytd, and i was able to enjoy freshly baked bread from Cartel's oven, as well as stirred fry Linguine.... *yummy*
After Dinner we went to chill out at Giraffe Club... Nice place, great ambience and peaceful.... =)
Mushies gave me my belated bday present... an exquisite leather wallet... really nice... Now i finally understood why my dear kept stopping me from getting a new wallet... Thank u mushies....
Ytd i managed to pour out all my grumbles n complains... hee... Maybe bcus we work in same line, they seem to be able to emphatise much more than me talkin to mum...
Work may be tough, I'll bite my teeth n continue for the coming few yrs b4 i think of other plans to upgrade myself n enrich my life...

recently, my life revolves between work , work n more work!
pathetic me...
workin 11hrs per day, 5 n 1/2 days per week
i spent 1/3 of my life working 1/3 sleeping, and 1/3 spending $$$
Recently dunno why 2 setbacks a week.
my prescription went wrong... and both r Indians...
Haiyo... why they always reject my plus power only after i prescribed....
Work has been pretty stressful, esp for forgetful person like me... sometimes i got *niao-ed* in sarcastic way.. but nvm, i will nt think much abt it after a day....
Hopefully after all hard work, I might be able to go travelling this yr Oct, though sad news is my mgr hinted tt my colleague will go on maternity leave n possibly i would get my leave then...
Last Saturday, blur me, mistook one cx as another. Cant blame me, they all look all the same... hee...
Arghh... a disaster hit me last week...
I gt a stye... my eyelid was swollen n teary, esp after looking through the slit lamp, tears will drop automatically down my cheeks.... the stye lasted for 4 days, it subsided and came back. wah... i was so scared at hw i wld be teased n hw cx wld look at me... luckily my glasses was a great camouflage... not even 1 cx asked wad happened to my eye... *blessed*
During this period, i made a pair of glasses at Song Choon optics... haha.... i happily bombarded the sales staff when making a pair of glasses for my sis whose deg reached -6.50. anw, wld be collected my glasses tmr, hopefully they din forget to alter the lens shape...
Haa... exam period for uni students... tmr my off wld be going out with Qt to get Birdie's pressie.

its been close to half a month since i update my blog...
work has started for a month...
so far ok.. except for tt aunty in our shop, i always get suaned, shouted n nagged.. n she simply juz piss me off.... lucky shes nt the mgr, otherwise life wld be sooo s**ky..
The fact shes off on every wednesday makes it unnegotiable for me to try to switch with her... so my poor mushrooms, sorry i wun be able to off on wednesday.
My off has been fixed on Tuesdays. However, if theres a manager meeting or wadsoever, it wld be switched to Mondays...
Work has been pretty tiring cos i worked one more hour everyday as compared to working at Eyeplay... However, i gety to go home on 9.30pm sharp, n this means i can catch shows or dramas at 10pm... Hee...
Since work started... life has been quite *interesting*, 1stly i get to know more ppl... the fact tt i m in chain store means i have more colleague... Secondly, I've attended proclear seminar, J n J service training, n there wld be more activites to await me... *yawns... n i'll get less slp...
This coming tuesday still hv optom training...

Recall back to my last week offs, I get last Mon n Tue consecutive offs....
On Monday, i brought ma n pa to Soup Restaurant @ Changi Airport n we had lunch set for three... was a big feast... n we felt so bloated aft the lunch.
After which i went to Plaza sing to get my materials for making my boy bou bday present...
Made a big bolster, requested by him n it cost me $30 juz spending on the cloth n polyester filling...
On Tuesday, I brought boy's pressie to Ang Mo Kio n we had Fish n Co...
Fish n Chips was yummy, it tasted especially delicious cos it was a treat from him....

Due to the fact that 2 of my colleagues are going on holidays in MAy, so i cant claim any PH in May, I get 8 offs in stead of my 6 this mth...

So i was freed from Sunday n till now...

Celebrated Wenxin bday at Changi Airport... geez. We ate at Tong Shui cafe. Strangely First time i see Hong kong Cha Can Ting halal... wahahah... so tt makes all e dim sum halal too... abit odd, but den i tink probably because its in airport..
Anyway the celebration was Great. Managed to give her a surprise with the cake.... n Shernee unexpected appearance shocked her.
Sunday Evening i met with darling...
Had dinner at Food republic before we headed off to marina sq for our movie...We smuggled Ribena, some tibits and Mac Flurry into the theatre...
aww... Caught Horton.. it was pure disappointment. I even thought the movie was too boring, a short 85 min film n i dozed off twice... hee...

Decided that since i have 3 off.. i shld try to do sth with my cert from OOb... n also my income tax thingy..
End up i called OOb more than 10x.. n no one answer...
I emailed n till now no reply...
Hopefully my cert gets renewed after march...

my conclusion is pretty slack... wahaha...
spend most of the time sitting, chatting, eating, dreaming.
but of cuz i get to learn new things
working style is v different, but i hope to adapt n enjoy my new work life...

i love having Saturday off... it make me feel so lucky, as if i am nt working in retail life...
hee... i'm so happy although i gt only 2 weekends off per mth...

it was my first time over there... had a bloaty lunch buffet... from steamboat... to terriyaki... to fry ice cream.... it was so fun....

had my hair rebonded...
did it at snip avenue..
a guy did for me... actually dun like male stylist. but luckily he was quite good n patient..
i stepped in the shop at 10.45, n the stylist attended to me from 11.05 n i sat all the way till 3.45pm... i nearly burst my bladder... n was so hungry sitting for the whole day...
luckily it was worth e wait...

i dun tink e test is easy, i thot i wld fail cuz the passing criteria is 5 mistakes or less upon 50 questions in total..

With these ingredients n help of kraft website

i managed to make my first oreo cheesecake

its quite easy...

u will need Cream Cheese, Sugar, vanilla essence, sugar, eggs. oreo cookies for crust, choco oreo cookies to mix with cheese

u nid to bake for an hr...

i am starting to rot till end of feb...
maybe alot of ppl already knew, i am moving on to a new workplace....
cny was purely rottin for me...
i had 2 reunion dinner on cny eve.
both chinese cuisines...
i alone, ate YUSHENG thrice this yr....
fat to death...
1st day of cny...

we went to pray to ancestors...
it some super hot...
sweating all the way... after which went to my first uncle hse to have lunch...
being a non gambler.... i fell asleep in the afternooon...
afterwhich... we went to my grandma's hse n catch up my tv...
watched e movie " xi ma la ya shan" or sumthin lidat, casted by LAu qing Yun. dunno wad e show abt... stupid... got yoga.. got flute... illusions... n i fell asleep again
evening... had dinner at grandma's hse... n caught up with my cousins...
went back hm at abt 9pm...

aft walking awhile, we were yearning for some quickbites... we had BEER BAttered Fried fish fillets with fries... n followed by apple juice with aloe vera to quesh thirst...
AFter eating we walked ard Raffles CIty....
n SUntec.... and soon it was dinner time.
as usual.. we ate Hokkien mee at Food Republic...
EVentually, we headed for our final destination River Hongbao..
SHeer disappointment...
there was nothing much except food n more food n pasam malam n uncle Ringo rides...
so sad...
i had candy floss as snack n it cost $2... which i thot its an extravagance because its juz plain pink sugar....

Stayed at Qt hse till abt 1+pm before we set off to birdie's hse....
how nice QT mum cooked lunch for us...
AFter tt was gossiping when we logged online...

Bird's mum was nt at hm so she herself gave us the hongbao which her mum packed....
aft tt they came over to my hse.... we waited for QT bf to come before me n bird went to tmall n century sq to shop... most of the shops were opened by then...

so met dear early n had a sumptuous dinner at ikea!
the salmon fish was refreshing... n the tasty chicken wings were juicy...
aft which we went to AH to visit his papa....

i had my pre-valentine dinner at ikea on 11 feb...

wahahah... actually, we met becuz his papa was hospitalised of knee injury...

My made my first blood donation ytd.. @ HSA BLOOD BANK
i felt so proud...
i had a sticker pasted on my chest saying" BE NICE TO ME, THIS IS MY FIRST DONATION"
the waiting time was super long... i was surprised so many ppl went to donate blood..
the human flood was abt 30/ hr... wow!
I had to fill up a questionaire before registration...
den which i had to see a doctor n was asked further abt some of the questions in the questionaire. AFter tt i had my blood pressure measured n did a minor blood test...
Waited for quite some time before i was referred to the chair where i could lie dn and gt my blood donated....
Prior to the fact i was less than 50kg, only 300ml of blood was drawn. They also took abt 5 extra tubes of blood. which i thot wld be used for testing if the blood contained any virus.. eg AIDs/HIV... n bla....
i felt dizzy aft the blood donation... abit lousy wor.... the nurse tilted my chair n let me rest for an extra 10min... to let my blood flow frm toe to head....
After the donation, i was bandaged with a bright color plaster... there were beige, pink, yellow, purple... n i heard someone requested for white but no stock
aft tt was refreshment....which i chose milo n a little cake
i was given some iron pills... to replenish my blood, which wld be taken for 2 weeks

took afew pics...but din take any during the blood drawn cuz i thot they wld be quite visual disturbing

this xmas was very xmas to me... cuz i ate 3 logcakes n 1 bday cake in the month of december...

Singing at kbox chinatown was fun! except the klunch was not really tasty...
e milo was too cocoa... not sweet at all... the best reward of the day! I got to learn new songs...
Work life has been hectic, i often lost touch with the world outside...

I enjoyed myself at Vivo city, and of course the delicious dinner we had at Breeks...
